Here's the command and error:
$ sqlserverdump --sql-engine --server-name=footserver --username=foouser --p
assword=foopassword --result-file='/c/Backup/foo.sql' FOODB

Is 2005 still supported?

I don't have a SQL Server 2005 version to try sqlserverdump against (I have searched for a while but haven't found a working link to download the trial version of SQL Server 2005; I would appreciate if anybody could direct me to a working link...). So it's hard for me to provide support for SQL Server 2005. But when an imcompatibility is reported, I will fix it in a future version as long as the fixes don't become too overwhelming.

That said, you should try the option --no-user-defined-table-types.
